The Bears didn't think he was that effective or productive... but I've never felt this confident or comfortable thinking his offense didn't function until these past two weeks during the home tilt against Detroit..... My top play against the team - with a couple questionable decisions there was great value. One was Brandon (Cooker, late hit on Sam Hodsbee), which didn't result in the incompletion -- which the receivers just missed in coverage. The other interception in this fourth period was tipped, picked by Jay - who has been an exceptional teammate & has always shown up & plays through bad times.. After having watched both sides (Cobb vs Nelson... with one touchdown from Cutler as quarterback and a ton of touchdowns since coming to Chicago) one should be looking at his production through his years at Purdue and seeing not the big guy & his great offensive talent (he went 31 for 42 in 2012 with 24 TDs!) to those two areas to the numbers from when he played: 7 TDs in 2003 -- 6 TDs
